In the vineyards veraison is happening, thanks to the heat, which has been persistently high even as night temperatures are dropping to 68°F (20°C).

We started to manually irrigate the new vineyards that we planted in January; although they are not suffering from water stress, since they have small roots, we prefer to give them water.

We inject around 5 litres of water as close to the roots as possible, so that the water doesn’t evaporate and the vine can immediately use it. In this way we help the development of both the root and vegetative systems so that we have the biggest growth possible during the first year.
