The weather over the last few weeks has been very warm, with highs of around 30°C (86°F) . The lows were fortunately around 15-16°C (60°F) so there is a big gap between day and night temperatures. The main issue and concern is the lack of rain over the last several weeks; at the moment there is no forecast of forthcoming rain but hopefully it will come soon.
Meanwhile in the vineyards we are finishing the green cleaning where we remove part of the vegetation (see photo) so that the bunches can better breath. But it is also important, especially when the weather is particularly warm, to keep the grapes shady so they don’t get burnt by the sun.
